KART RACING
Matthew has been a competitive kart racer for the last 6 years. He started racing when he was 9 in the micro class and over the years has won many local races and state championships in Florida which is an extremely competitive state for karting.
Matthew has raced on a national level since 2017 and consistently placed in the top 10 against some of the nation’s top drivers on both the SKUSA Pro Tour and the United States Pro Kart Series. He has been on the podium at national events and in his last year of karting was invited to race for CRG Nordam (the CRG factory team in the USA).
CAR RACING
In 2020 Matthew made the transition from karts to cars. He raced the Lucas Oil championship race series which consisted of 18 races at six different tracks across the country. It was an extremely competitive series with numerous drivers racing in the series for their second year. Matt finished the season with six wins and 12 podiums, narrowly missing winning the championship by a mere 25 points. A huge accomplishment for the youngest driver in the series.

In 2021 Matt raced the United States F4 Championship. This series is the first step in a drivers pursuit to Formula 1. In his rookie season of F4 Matt finished 5th in the championship points with a total of 43 drivers competing throughout the season. He had a total of 10 top 5 finishes, and two podiums. Another huge accomplishment given the fact that he was only 15 years old at the start of the season which is the minimum age to compete in F4.
FUTURE
In 2022 Mathew will be racing the United States F4 championship series with Velocity Racing & Development. After being asked to race for some of the country’s top teams in U.S. F4 program Matt decided on VRD based on their track record for winning championships in this specific car. With a long-term career goal of racing the NTT Indy car Series, we feel that VRD has the tools, racing knowledge, and relationships to take Matt all the way to his goal of winning the United States F4 National Championship.
